The ambition of ECCO News is to be the glue that keeps us together, to reflect what’s going on within the organisation and to report on IBD activities at large within Europe.
With this periodical publication (first issue published in spring 2006) ECCO opens a new way to maintain the information-flow on the activities taking place within the society during the periods between congresses - keeping its members up-to-date as well as all gastroenterologists, pathologists, surgeons, basic scientists and nurses worldwide interested in IBD.
Therefore, ECCO News is an important part of the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation’s ambition to create a European standard of IBD care and to promote knowledge and research in the field of IBD. ECCO Members receive this publication four times a year for free.
