Y-ECCO Workshops

 

In well-established tradition, Y-ECCO Workshops are held on an annual basis prior to the ECCO Congress and are jointly organised by the ECCO Education Committee and the Y-ECCO Committee.

 

This workshop aims at providing gastroenterology trainees, who have already developed an interest in inflammatory bowel disease, with a basis for developing a career in IBD. Themes addressed are:

 how to build an appropriate cohort for translational research,
bullet_a_blue_10x10 how to stimulate networking between European groups and
bullet_a_blue_10x10 how to make a career in IBD more attractive for females,
bullet_a_blue_10x10 how to obtain funding for your research and tips,
bullet_a_blue_10x10 and tricks and pitfalls of interacting with pharmaceutical companies will be presented.

The participation in the workshop is free of charge for all Y-ECCO members. You may register for the workshop as part of the congress registration via the online congress registration system.
